These are some of the most frequently asked questions when ordering on Chamelios.com.

Do the frames really change color?

Yes. Once a Chamelios frame is exposed to direct sunlight it will change to another color. The time it takes to transition to another color depends on how long the frame is in direct sunlight. Usually within minutes it will change. Then once you bring the glasses back inside, out of the sun, they will change back to the original color.

How do I measure my Pupillary Distance "PD"?

We've setup a page that explains how you can obtain you or your child's PD or take the measurement yourself. Or any parent or legal guardian can simply do it for their kids. Visit Measuring Your PD.

Do you support vision insurance?
Yes, you can use your vision benefits at Chamelios.com.

1. Call your insurance company and give them your plan number and verifying information.
2. Ask them to describe the Out-of-Network benefit for your plan and information necessary to submit the out-of-network claim.
3. Place an order at Chamelios.com and submit our invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Can I try the frames at home and return?

Yes, we do have a free home try on return policy which lets you try up to 3 frames in the comfort of your home. If you don't like any, simply send it back to us and we will give you 100% refund without any restocking fees.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Delivery time varies depending upon the shipping location in the USA. When you get to the checkout page it will show you an estimated delivery time for your order.

What are the payment options?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and PayPal credit.

Can I do my payment in parts?

Yes, by selecting PayPal credit as your payment option they will let you pay in parts.

What types of lenses do you offer?

We offer 4 types of lenses for your Chamelios frames. See our chart to determine which one will be best for you.

What is BluLoc?

BluLoc is the technology in our lenses that blocks out a portion of the harmful and unnatural blue light that is emitted by the digital screens on our computers, TVs, tablets and phones. Wearing lenses with BluLoc can make any time in front of a screen more comfortable on your eyes and help reduce or prevent age-related macular degeneration and vision loss later in life. In addition, by eliminating the unwanted blue light which can interrupt sleep patterns (circadian rhythm) you will actually sleep better at night.

How do I send in my prescription?

If you have a digital copy available then you can simply send during the checkout process. Or you can simply photograph it with your phone or scan it, and then email to order@chamelios.com.

Can you install lenses if I send you a frame?

Yes. If you are sending a pair of Chamelios glasses to us then we'll install the lenses into those frames. Please contact us directly through our contact form so we can work out how best to handle your need.

Is my information private and secure?

Yes, all information submitted is kept private and will never be sold to any third party. In addition, we take steps to ensure your information is safe.  We use encrypted processing with state of the art safety built into the program.
